Prayer Ministries
Daily prayer is every believer’s responsibility!
It is the responsibility of every believer to communicate with our creator daily through prayer. There are so many examples of prayer for others in the Bible. Ephesians 1-3 contains 4 prayers of intercession that Paul prayed. Nehemiah confessed the sin of the people and asked God to hear his prayers. Haggai insisted now is the time to build the temple of our God! We seek to pattern our prayer after these giants in Scripture.
We currently pray together in these ways:
-
Ladies Prayer Group meeting Tuesday at 4:00 in the conference room.
-
Intercessory Prayer meeting the 1st & 4th Sundays at 8:00 in Pam Cook's classroom.
-
Women's Prayer Group meeting the second Tuesday of each month from 10:00 - 12:00 at a member's home.
-
E-mail Connection, where prayer requests are shared with those members who have supplied us with their email.
-
Prayercards for member's children who are currently students in school, college, or university.
-
Traditional prayer chain via landline phones, for those willing to pray immediately, fervently and unceasingly for crisis requests in the body of Christ.
